About us
Political Neutrality
We know how the political machine works so make it VERY clear we’re not interested in playing juvenile games. We will support policy that is sensible, balanced and empirically proven. We will NEVER support one party over another. AGAIN, we support policy not politics.

Transformative
SMR technology will transform the landscape and so on that basis our sole objective is to give those developing and investing in SMR technology confidence in the future. We simply cannot dismiss SMRs. They must be considered part of the hybrid solution of energy transition in Australia. They can and will transform how we view energy into the future.
Why is the $5,000,000,000 Marinus Link across Bass Straight such bad policy when it comes to energy transition in Australia?
Positive and Fresh
When we talk about energy in Australia the conversation soon becomes either incredibly emotional or aggressive. No matter where you look someone has an opinion OR a vested interest. Our goal at SMR Australia is to present a simple overview of a very exciting and complex solution. Which we believe holds the solution to a bright and prosperous future.
And it’s not just about Uranium!
Did you know there are SMR manufacturers based in Australia that use Thorium to deliver direct electricity to 10,000 homes for 20 years without refuelling with a power plant the size of a garage with ZERO nuclear waste. Imagine what we could do for Tasmania!

We are separated into four distinct groups: Board | Scientific Advisory Panel | Investors |
SMR Technology Firms. A clear separation is paramount in that Board Members cannot have a financial interest in a SMR firm, entity or third party. Some people may disagree with that approach but remaining neutral is the key to our success so we REFUSE to blur the lines.
Funding
We do not and will not accept funding from mining companies that have a specific interest in lifting the ban of uranium exports.
We’re not interested in blowing ‘stuff’ up and shipping it overseas. We’re interested in developing capacity here in Australia for Australians.
Our First Nations Communities play a pivotal role in the development of SMRs in Australia. But the strategy needs to change form digging dirt, to self-determination.
