Fire Extinguisher Training
Crew members from Shoalhaven Marine Rescue underwent training in the use of fire extinguishers courtesy of the Rural Fire Service at Greenwell Point. The evening commenced with theory on the safe handling and use of fire extinguishers and was then followed by practical training with extinguishers using the various types of extinguisher used on rescue vessels to put out a fuel fire. Pictured below are SMRA members handling the equipment and putting out fuel fires.
